This blog is my quest to learn how to take an inherited collection of fine art (original quilt patterns) from near obscurity and bring them back in this digital age. My main goal is to continue the family heritage and if possible grow this into a business. We are presently photographing and converting hundreds of original paper patterns from the 1930's thru the 1960's and setting up a web site for potential business. The big question is how to market these patterns without loosing control of this intellectual property. We are exploring copyrights but . . .
